Terms & conditions
By hiring a Go-Pro, attachments and/or accessories (further called “equipment’) you enter into the following agreement with Exmouth Camera Hire.
Availability and Acceptance
All equipment hire is subject to availability of equipment at time of order.
All equipment hire is subject to these terms and conditions.
By accepting these terms & conditions you accept responsibility for the Go-Pro, attachments and accessories during the hire period.
You agree to use the equipment as detailed in the instructions provided when receiving the equipment.
Rental Period
The rental period begins on the day of receiving the equipment and ends on the day of the equipment return to Exmouth Camera Hire.
You are obligated to return the equipment to Exmouth Camera Hire within the stipulated time frame or risk incurring a late return fee of $25.
Each additional day of hire past the agreed hire period will incur a $60 charge per day.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requires 48 hours’ notice in writing.
Cancellation within 48 hours can result in a penalty equivalent to 50% of the total rental rate of all the hired equipment.
Cancellation within 24 hours can result in a penalty equivalent to 100% of the total rental rate of all the hired equipment.
For change of mind and/or cancellation during the hire period, there will be no refund offered.
Security Waiver
Upon receiving the equipment, you will be required to sign a security waiver.
For this security waiver you will need to provide details of a working credit card.
These details will only be used in case of damage, loss, theft, or late return of the equipment.
Exmouth Camera Hire reserves the right to bill the hirer for any damages identified within 48 hours of the equipment return.
Equipment Usage
All equipment shall be used for the purpose for which is it hired.
You agree that you are familiar and experienced with the safe operation of the equipment.
All property rights remain with Exmouth Camera Hire.
Condition of Equipment
Upon receiving the equipment, you confirm that it is in good working order. You acknowledge that you have examined the equipment and declare that you have received all of such equipment in secure and good working condition.
Damage, Loss or Missing Components
All equipment hired must be returned to Exmouth Camera Hire in the same condition as it was received.
You agree to pay for any damage or loss of the equipment, regardless of cause, and keep the equipment, tools, and accessories in good repair and operating condition at all times.
If you return the equipment inoperative, damaged or with missing components, it will be restored to original working order by Exmouth Camera Hire at your expense.
If you decide to include the extra insurance ($15) to your equipment hire, your liability will be lowered to $150. This means that if you return the equipment inoperative, damaged or with missing components, it will be restored to original working order by Exmouth Camera Hire, but you will be charged a maximum of $150.
All equipment which cannot be returned to Exmouth Camera Hire will be invoiced to you at its current published list price.
Collection and Return of Equipment
Picking up your rental equipment:
Pick up location is withing the township of Exmouth 6707 Western Australia. The address will be communicated after booking.
You can select your preferred pick up time during the booking process. This pick up time is subject to availability of staff at time of rental period.
Returning your rental equipment:
Drop of is within the township of Exmouth 6707 Western Australia at the same address as the pick up address.
Drop off time will be discussed with staff upon pick up of the equipment.
General
These terms and conditions, as published on the Exmouth Camera Hire website located at exmouthcamerahire.com.au/termsandconditions at the time of equipment rental, are the official equipment rental terms and conditions between Exmouth Camera Hire and yourself, and may be amended from time to time without notice at Exmouth Camera Hire’s sole discretion.
